Ecommerce adaptive website

The site design needed to reflect the nature of the product and have a high quality crafted feel with attention to material details and lots of photography. The site needed to look good on all devices as well as including social linking and making the commerce tie in visually. Technically the site was built using a custom theme and custom functionality extending Wordpress natural functionality. Extensive use of HTML5, CSS3 and a lot of Javascript.

Specialist Adaptive Banners for Nurofen

Specially adapting banner set. Banner was designed to adapt to the given space and alter all the animations within itself, so a smaller size would result in one particular layout and a larger size another, varying the look and layout of the whole banner on the fly. Web advertising campaign for Visa Europe

Set of three banners created for international use featuring an animation that used different video sections of people slotted together to form a whole image. Animated text and other graphics then formed the whole banner. After completing the template banners, the European text banners were made which involved individually making each layout to fit. Interactive Animated Portfolio website

The client was looking to combine together a portfolio of advertising work including TV adverts, radio adverts and print work inside a website that had a more visual approach rather than being a point and click HTML version they already had. Primarily it needed to be animated with smooth transitions effects, moving menu parts and a degree of simplicity. Written in Actionscript, HTML, CSS, Javascript.

Website for recruitment agency

Designed to replace the existing website, the new website needed a fresh look and feel as well as totally replacing the outdated functionality. Because the site was dynamically driven, most pages were designed as templates. Site also included some custom animated world clocks and an animated landing page. Technically the site was replaced with a PHP / MySQL totally custom build using the framework Kohana. Written in HTML, CSS, Actionscript, Javascript and backend with PHP / MySQL with Kohana.

DVDROM campaign for British Heart Foundation

BHF had an existing bit of software that was designed as a tutorial for teaching kids about healthy living. The software featured lots of media including videos, animation, large amounts of text, images and interactive games. Originally it was created in Adobe Director and they asked for a version to be written in Actionscript which involved converting the whole code base of the software as well as having to recreate all of the animated parts as totally new bits of code. Internal website for University Of Greenwich Women's Art

The website needed to display a very extensive collections of artwork - in the order of tens of thousands of images. There was no existing site, so was built from scratch. Because of the huge base of images the site needed to have a relational database to serve all the images. Children's animated website

The client had a range of childrens snacks, stocked in most supermarkets, and they had the idea that providing a child friendly website would allow them to connect with the buyers of the product, through the children using the site. In essence it was a collection of games and animated cartoons that attracted children in to view the site, with information collection from parents who had to sign up for competitions and promotions. The client had a resident artist that provided the images needed under direction for the animations and games. The site featured heavy use of web animation, interactivity, video and other rich media. Written Actionscript with supporting HTML, CSS and Javascript.

The client had a range of luxury home products that were heavily influenced by a far eastern aesthetic, with a European level of quality and durability. They were looking for a website that extolled those values, represented the highly visual nature of the product that would allow the user to really experience the product without having it in their hands. They opted for a highly animated more interactive Flash baed website to that end. All the menus and product detailing were highly designed and animated, with a rich media approach throughout, but the site also needed the more workaday items like forms for email and so on. Written in Actionscript with supporting HTML, CSS and Javascript.

DVDROM Rolls Royce 100EX

Rolly Royce decided they needed an digital sales catalog that potential customers could take away with them. In essence it acted as a lightbox which the user could select images they liked. The look and feel of the software had to reflect the brand values, highly engineered and precise as well as desirable with an air of exclusivity. In essence the product was a large interactive image grid, that you could click on for an enlarged view with very high quality photos that the user could scroll through and look at as well as saving out to the desktop. All aspects of the navigation were animated for maximum visual impact. Written in HTML, CSS, Actionscript and Javascript

The client wanted a Flash animation that would slot into their new staff member program. The new member was sat down and made to wash the introduction and the animation formed part of that. The user is taken on a fly though of a typical office situation in which there are key points for safety highlighted. Designed as a cutting edge piece of website technology showing the Volvo P40 for the Frankfurt motor show. The site featured a fully animated menu system and site navigation as well as live events and video. It was designed to be available only to the very latest browsers at that time.
