Its more of a practice to keep my skills in. Drawing is hard, I do quite a bit of sketching and designing on an iPad now, the commercial designer part of me is always looking for a quick answer and its all too tempting to oversketch photos. When I actually do make the effort, the results can be really worthwhile.

I just started doing some illustrations for the blog. Done on an iPad with sketchBook.

Lifedrawing

I have books and books of life drawing. Im not exactly sure that Im getting better at it, or I'm even going somewhere with it, but I have spent quite a while in ernest. Besides my experience in Foundation at Bournemouth College of Art and Design, I spent some time at the Putney School of Arts drawing as well as doing some when I moved back to Weymouth for a while. I enjoy it, or I find it something I like in the challenge of doing it anyway.

Printing

Weirdly printing is not where I expected to be, but I do love it. It's the unexpected end result that really appeale to me, what comes out the other end. Quite often there is a lot of work involved before hand.
