Automotive clients

I am still working on automotive in my current position. I find it easier working on automotive, it's my comfort zone. The bulk of the work here was done during my period as a full-time and freelance in London between 2003 and 2008.

BMW

A one off for broad media use, this particular ad was taken from the Sunday Guardian supplement but was also billboard ad as well. Work included layout, graphics and retouching in photoshop.

BMW Mini

BMW Mini. This is a very old project I worked on for one of the first companies I was with based in Brighton. It was a training CD written in Authorware and was a training manual for sales staff. My work included both coding and graphics - although it was such a long time ago, I cant remember the exact format of authorware and how it was coded but Im presuming early html / js maybe.

Castrol Motor Oil

Whilst working for the same company, Castrol commissioned a huge research portfolio and wanted a test site built which was aimed specifically at motorbike users - a difficult market. The work consisted of a lot of front end development, building HTML, CSS and javascript as well as designing and building graphics in Illustrator and Photoshop.

Freelance project

Another one off - a freelance job, a website for a design agency - in fairness I was very remote to the client. Work included graphics in photoshop as well as some html / css building as well.

Rolls Royce

This was a project whilst I was working for a company full time that was a multimedia CDrom for Rolls Royce - it was basically a gallery of photos where you could pick your own images on a lightbox and send to a saved folder. I was involved with coding - it was made in Macromedia Director and coding in Lingo with graphics made with the usual tools.

Volvo

This was a freelance project for Volvo at the Frankfurt exhibition for that year. I was involved with building the interface in Flash, coding Actionsctipt and building graphics. The project suffered a few problems in the build and overran on build time as it was all very new technology then. The client requested lots of very cutting edge features at the time including a live video feed, complex animations and detailed graphics.
