Client : The Sandwich Girls
Business : Sandwich Shop
I was asked to brand the Sandwich girls ( owned by my sisters Emily & Rachel ) based in Weymouth on Granby Industrial estate as they were moving to a new premises. As a background story, basically they had been based in a concession in the Esso garage for twenty odd years. It turned out this had reached a natural conclusion and they intended to move to a brand spanking new portakabin just over the road from the original premises.
Up until this stage, the company had no real need to brand because they had customers just walking in. Over the years the customers who are pretty loyal as it turns out, had become used to that arrangement but obviously any move is a nerve wracking time for the business owner, so when they came to me to ask for a rebrand it was fairly obvious that something totally rock solid would be needed.
In the end they went for a very 80's influenced neon style sign. Originally it was conceived in Brazil yellow, but as the premises needed graphics wrap, the colour choices are limited to a stock selection that unfortunately doesn't include that particular colour - but its very close. I presented them with a good selection of different colours initially, but it was decided that the yellow had highest impact
As the cabin was the central focus of course the graphics wraps for the building were critical so most of the initial design focused on that. As well as vynl wraps there was a door sign in perpsex. The lightbox image above shows the CAD drawing the building, and below the finished item. All wrap work was done by Impact signs of Weymouth.
In addition there were secondary materials along the way, so far a flyer to let people know they were moving and a staff t-shirt made by My Shirt Shack ( Facebook business site ) also of Weymouth.
